Does the YouTube video help or hurt?

Does the YouTube video help or hurt?

This is always a play-by-play type situation. First there are companies that work with manufacturer that have YouTube videos for taking machines apart. these are usually a parts distributor aka Reliable. There is also Fred’s which is a school for appliance repair and I found their videos to be spot on.

Now on the other hand I find myself saying no, no, NO! On some of these videos and usually they have cut out some of the process or are teaching the hard way over the smart way. I tell you this, there are plenty of YouTube videos that should not be there so best advice I can give to you DIYs I’d watch more than one before you try something new and look at your part to see where it would go and how and where attachments are prior to breaking something to fix something else.
